We are a mixed gay couple, Costarrican and Canadian,  that has been together for 25 years and had decided to get married in Costa Rica in January 2021. Legislation in Costa Rica has changed and since 2020 same-sex weddings are legal. What a joy it was for us was to be part of this event. We didn’t know where to start and so with the help of our siblings in Costa Rica we were able to make this a memorable event.
